Today I came an hour late to scouting. Why? I had a very terrible headache. I came to school running and tired. It started to rain when I arrived. They were playing some sort of game which I don't understand how it's played. Then we were called to the lunch area and had an announcement about camping and then we were dismissed. Learning new knots was fun hahaha.
So yesterday at scouting I was weak but went to school anyway. I have to support my members because I'm a crew leader. Cooking was hard especially in the condition I'm in. Anyway I had fun building fires and putting wood. Ms. Canlas was at the scene :P In the afternoon after scouting, Me and Harvey went to McDo and ate. After That, I went to Chiang Kai's fair. I was looking for her so I could talk to her but, she wasn't there. I was frightened last Friday and couldn't say a word. I experienced sadness due to being heartbroken. I actually teared up last Friday. I was paralyzed with fear, regret and sadness. But I was fine yesterday and had a fun time with friends at the Chiang Kai fair. Then I went back to QC and felt really drained from the day.
Scouting: A game of Trust, Skill, and Knowledge...
So, today is another day in scouting and what mostly happened are games. Games are somewhat divided into three types, Trust, Skill and Knowledge. Trust, the game of following. I the Wolf Crew's crew leader has to clap to call the members' attention and lead them to a certain check point. Skill, Tug-Of-War and Modified Basketball. The game was really challenging especially basketball. Because, one was blindfolded, another has tied hands, and the last wasn't allowed to shoot. This scouting day was the most stressful day in my scouting life. Because, I can feel my heart throbbing and it was painful. Luckily, it passed and I'm fine now. So I'm here blogging and facebook-ing heheh... I guess that's it CHOW!!
So I only get to post this late.. Anyways, the day actually started with the new members' investiture ceremony. We had fun leading the new members around weird and odd terrains. Rgie was really annoying the new members changing the positions every 20ft(est.) then they eventually got their neckerchiefs and we left.
At lunch, me and Harvey went to eat before going to the English program rehearsal. At the rehearsals, we were rehearsing the song we will perform. The practice went great everyone is getting better in each take. We will have out general rehearsal on Mon. or Tues.. Hope to see my band mates in school
At the overnight, the night started with a few games and sadly we were overpowered by the drummers :( Hours later, the actual overnight begins. Dinner was first, we invited Mazda, Kyvan and Ervin to join us in eating. Our dinner had a theme, BURGER STEAK!!! A little later, we practiced our skit for the overnight, "May Tayong Dalawa" and was actually awesome. Then the bonfire begins, I was very nervous because I'm a lead character and I planned for the script (*see plot below). Then after performances from different troops, the bonfire ends. The "night" was fun I was listening to my MP3 the entire night and not a single officer noticed me. Then morning came, I met up with Atsi Jen at the SSHS's church and asked a few questions about the Domain of F(G(x)), (FoG)(x), (GoF)(x), G(F(x). Then around 10 am, we prepared for dismissal then did a lot of errands. Going here and there was very tiring but fun :). Then we played a few games and were eventually dismissed.
May Tayong Dalawa (From the bonfire) Plot: There are two friends, JR Garcia and Andrew Queen. JR was very dependent to Andrew on the simplest things. They were talking about the party they're about to go to. After a while, JR got bored and called Andrew to meet w/ him. While rushing to Andew, Andrew got holdapped and got cut in the neck. When JR sees Andrew lying, He slowly and dramatically walks to Andrew and he meets a young boy named Santino and tries to cure Andrew but failed. A doctor came and said Andrew wouldn't make it and the all felt sad for the diseased. After a week, JR prepares to go to another party and panics. Then a voice talks to him, and JR looks around to find it. He sees an image of Andrew and was grateful that he was still there. Andrew told him, he wasn't a ghost but an illusion who tells him that he doesn't always need his help in most simple jobs...
Mkay, so today is another day of distress. A boring day at scouting nyehehe. We were just waiting for the others to finish. Guys, I think I'm going too fast on this so, let's take it from the top. This morning started with me waking up late then doing basic house stuff before going to school. When we left, I was thinking about the things that would happen today. Then I ate at McDo with Anne, Jericka, Deena, and Iris. talked about the teachers and other school stuff. Then the troop meeting began, I was again getting my usual headaches due to heat. So I was sitting around talking to the newbies about the BOR and that's just about it.
Today is another rainy scouting day and I went a wee bit late and met up with Michael. The entire troop meeting I actually wore my jacket hehe... BOR, the "Board of Review" which would probably be next, next week (easy, easy). We were taught (again) First-Aid, which was followed by a very repulsive slide show. We then played a silly game of drills and were eventually dismissed. We again ate at McDo and waited for my dad. Taught Anne Romo math today. Oh... andyan n pansit ko.. GTG :)
Hmmm... Scouting, I've been doing this since I was in my first year. It's been fun meeting new people and hanging out with my crew mates. I remember lots of things in my days like the skills and outrageous adventures we had. Camping, Overnights, Cook-Outs!! This is the year 2009 I'm now an official crew leader of the Wolf Crew, what more adventures will we have now that we have new members?

Today is another day of scouting (La akong necker..) arrived at school around 12nn met up with Jericka and Casimir. Today is a scout fellowship day with a guest speaker... Anyway Ervin made us look for our flag which was precisely hidden on a very unpredictable place, we couldn't find it and he had to show it to us in the end. We went to McDo and to a comshop and eventually went home. Had sooo much fun at scouting.
Of a House and a Street
This night we went to Rockwell Powerplant Mall to pick up my brother and his gf, We came across a house near atsi Kat's place and had an idea of moving (para makikita n ni ahia gf nya everyday). The house was awesome and HUGE!!
This morning I need to go early for service which was watching a funeral (creepy). We went to Sanctuarium for the body's cremation. It was really fun especially chatting around with Harvey and Mazda. We ate lunch after that and I rushed home, switching to my type C and rushed back to school. I'm now an official crew leader :p. Leading the Wolf Crew would be a new challenge but I think it would work out. Hmmm... I finally got a flag, and I'm waving it with pride... Well I felt that I need to eat the moment the troop meeting ends. MCDO!!!!!
Today is Saturday which means it's a scouting day... :P I met up with Anne Romo and Mazda Cai this afternoon and chatted about ma'am SM and such. Today was awesome... Sylbert apparently is our new member. Anyway Harvey didn't show up for an unknown reason. Anyway this scouting day was borinughg since there were only three of us though we made it through. Hmm I wish we have more members then we can make our plans happen. This year is my first year having a batchmate as a staff, Ervin Rubio he probably make things a little different.. WHO KNOWS?
Today is the CSA competition for script writing and my first day of scouting... The day started with the competition, which gave us a hard topic, "Color of Hope". Not an easy topic eh? Anyway I met up with Sharmaine and Arvin at the contest and after that, we went to eat at MCDO :P We planned about year org stuff then went back to school cuz Sharmaine was to get something... We sat by the office and saw "Bowlcut" who called Sharmaine and Arvin to the office apparently talking about the videos on youtube. Me w/ Jinger and the others are for Sharmaine :) cause we know she did nothing wrong. Using the rock song "Shake It- Metro Station". What's wrong with that? "Bowlcut" said it would harm the school's rep. The school's reputation for the students is already bad to start with. I asked Jinger about being a Stephenian and now I'm not proud to be one. Sharmaine told me the same thing. Hayyy, the school rules are usually unreasonable.
The Overnight technically did not start at night time. It started at 9am in the morning when Sir Kyvan or Israel (LATE AKO!!) asked our troop to fall-in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10... After the announcements that I didnt hear, We, along with Outfit 22 were asked to lift 1, 2 or 60+ chairs with 8 or 9 tables. We were then grouped into three, MacArthur(Amanda), Rizal(Betty) and Mabini(Cheska/Chesca). Then after that is the "Shooting Range (Shoot Kyvan!)" :D. We were given a target (manila paper) and we have to aim at the middle scoring eight points per shot (hirap ang liit eh)... After that we took our seats at the Quadrangle and waited for further instructions. Then It's LUNCHTIME!!! (WAHH UNA SI HARVEY!! XD) we ate, and ate, and ate til' we can't eat anymore... After that is the "Punishment Subraction Game"(Basketball). I played P.I.G.(H.O.R.S.E.) against Joshua Wee and Janson Siy. Technically I lost but I'm 2nd :). A little later it's the overnight proper...
3-18-09 is when our overnight began, along with the court of honor. Like before, I got the perfect attendance award :) though I wished i got more ^_^... next year bago na staff namin ewan ko kung sino... From outfit 21 si Anthony naging staff :D gud luk next year... and ung di naging staff try and try until get there :D and 4th years mamimis ko kayo:) We did a skit that's about scouting... It's not as easy as it seems but we made it through :) I would say the bonfire was kind of interesting yet odd... Masaya talaga un bonfire lalu na dahil katabi ko si Harvey... Kung ano-ano nalang ang pinaguusapan namin... Lalu na si Elsha :)

Aldric Go- Contrasting to my brother, I'm the sensitive, efficient, witty, not-so-organized, academically inclined and reasonable twin. A definite party monster and a rock star. I'm a music geek. I love any but RnB cuz I find the lyrics senseless. The band manager and organizer. I love songwriting though I can't put in the words the way I want it. My music is basically rock, punk rock, post-grunge, acoustic and ballad-like songs. I love songs that could make me tear-up because it means I can REALLY relate to them.

Lumina is a band formed around December 2009. The band consists of Gabrielle Ong, Lead Vocals, Aldric Go, Rhythm and Back-Up, Brendon Ong, Lead, Aldrin Go, Bass. With the absence on a drummer,
the band is looking for one. Their debut performance was at the SSHS Quadrangle at December 19, 2009 with High and Iris. The first performance was unsuccessful so they practiced harder and
enter a jingle contest from the Science Club. Fight FoR Peace won first prize for an original song entitled "Save It! (ft. Winona See)". The band is in it's songwriting stages and we plan to record as soon as
we get 7 or 8 songs (original compositions). The band's genre consists of: Pop Rock, Alternative Rock, Acoustic, Pop Punk, Power Ballads and occasionally Christian Songs. The band's main influences are
Paramore, Marianas Trench, The Maine, All-American Rejects, Artist VS Poet and Boys Like Girls. The band is NOT a just a cover band
because we do write our own songs and we also plan to collaborate with people. The band's first song is "Fallen" which is a simple song about love and sadness with Evanescence as an influence. "Fallen" was admired by most classmates which
shows a big success. The band's in it's songwriting stages and plans to pursue the world of music in the near future.

THE SM ADVANTAGE
SM ADVANTAGE or the "Chem Club", the SSHS unofficial organization who guards, annoy, and chat with Chemistry teachers such as Ms. R. Canlas and Ms. J. San Miguel. The organization is a sister company of the Sharolites and was first founded on June 2009. Each member was given a "code name" of "element symbol"
Me, Aldric Go is "Ag" (silver), Mazda Cai is "C" (Carbon), Anne Romo is "Ar" (Argon), Harvey Chua is "H" (Hydrogen), Camille Lee is "Cl" (Clorine), Jackielyn Ballada is "Ba" (Barium), Karen Madrigal is "K" (Potassium), and Priscilla Aquino is "Pa" (Protactinium), Ms. Jem SM is "Sm" (Samarium), Ms. Canlas is "Cs" (Cesium). As members, we already identified Ms. San Miguel's
schedule of the week. All members are expected to have an experience of Ms. San Miguel and Ms. Canlas's teachings. All members are expected to know how to spell "Chem".
